Rainbow Parakeet Ayurveda and Remedial Massage in Carine, Perth was created as a place where traditional Ayurvedic medicine meets therapeutic bodywork and holistic healing.
Our approach integrates Ayurvedic consultations, remedial massage therapy, and classical Ayurvedic body treatments to support the body’s natural ability to restore balance and health.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Ayurveda looks at the whole person — body, mind, lifestyle, digestion, and environment. By understanding the underlying causes of imbalance, treatments can be tailored to support long-term wellbeing rather than temporary relief.
At Rainbow Parakeet Ayurveda and Remedial Massage, each treatment is designed to help calm the nervous system, improve circulation, support detoxification, and restore the body’s natural rhythms.

Remedial Massage and Ayurveda Treatments
Rainbow Parakeet Ayurveda and Remedial Massage offers a calm and nurturing space where Ayurvedic medicine and therapeutic bodywork are integrated to support whole-body wellbeing.
Located in the quiet, leafy suburb of Carine, the clinic provides personalised treatments that combine the wisdom of traditional Ayurveda with remedial massage therapy. This integrative approach helps address both muscular tension and deeper systemic imbalances, supporting relaxation, improved circulation, and the body’s natural healing processes.
Clients can experience traditional therapies such as Abhyanga full-body oil massage, the deeply calming Shirodhara treatment, Ayurvedic herbal facials, and gentle steam therapy, all designed to restore balance and calm the nervous system.
Each treatment invites you to slow down, reconnect with your body, and experience the restorative benefits of Ayurveda.

Health Consultations
If you like to learn more about your individual body and mind constitution (prakruthi) and how to bring any imbalances (vikruthi) back to that happy balanced state, you may have a consultation with our Qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner. Ayurvedic Practitioners use lots of tools like observation, questioning, tongue and pulse diagnosis and others. Diet and Lifestyle modifications as well as some temporary herbal supplementation might be required to help you pacify or eliminate "doshas" - unique elements that Ayurveda calls vata, pitta and kapha, that have gone out of balance.

Detoxification - Ayurvedic Panchakarma
Panchakarma is the purification protocol used in Ayurvedic medicine for long-lasting health benefits. Ayurveda recommends to undertake Panchakarma once or twice per year during the change of season for maintenance purpose to enjoy longevity and happy life. However, when we are sick, Panchakarma will often help to rid of the ailment or encourage significant shift in the body's own capacity to heal itself. Our Qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner will discuss if you should consider Panchakarma as part of your Ayurvedic journey.

About the Practitioner
Rainbow Parakeet Ayurveda and Remedial Massage was founded by Alena Speed, a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Remedial Massage Therapist with a deep interest in natural medicine and holistic healing.
Alena’s path to Ayurveda began through a desire to understand how the body restores health naturally. With an earlier background in science and engineering, she developed a strong analytical understanding of complex systems — an approach that now informs her work in natural medicine.
Her training includes clinical Ayurveda, remedial massage therapy, and traditional Ayurvedic body treatments, allowing her to work with both the structural and internal aspects of health.
Alena’s approach combines traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with careful observation of each client’s individual constitution, lifestyle and current health concerns. Treatments are always personalised to support the body’s unique healing process.
